Linda Ockwell-Jenner is joined by Peter Hersics, Vice-President and CFO of Gateman Milloy. The conversation touches on replacing success and failure with honesty and effort, measuring plans against outcomes and then labeling success or failure–rarely do we look at the lessons learned. We may say we learned a lesson but we often think in black and white. Measuring honesty and effort puts us squarely in the grey, where we can honestly assess what we learned, and evaluate the effort we put in, and try and “fail” better.
