Episode #125 Massive Action

from Legal Imposters · host Caroline Flanagan

What if, instead of giving yourself a week, 6 months, a year to complete that project or accomplish that goal, you could achieve it in half the time? This week on Legal Imposters I'm introducing you to Massive Action - a tool I've been using in my business to generate the momentum, focus, energy and courage to bring my vision for the Be The First Membership to life. Not in a year, which is the timeframe my brain wants to set to avoid the fears that achieving this goal brings up. I'm using it to achieve this goal in half the time. And it's effectiveness is blowing my mind. Massive Action is the level of action you need to take to accomplish a goal or task in less time than you reasonably expect it to take. What makes this tool so valuable, is its ability to cut through the fears that are the real reasons behind your procrastination and why tasks take you so long to achieve. Last October, when I asked myself how long I thought I needed to build and open the Be The First Membership, my brain offered me "at least a year!". Taking into account the scale of what I want to build, the meatiness of the sub-tasks involved, my already packed coaching and speaking schedule plus the many hats I wear as a business owner, this seemed entirely reasonable. But I saw this timeframe for the procrastination it was: a secret sign of Imposter Syndrome that is holding me back from my potential to produce more in less time. So I challenged myself to pick a shorter timeframe.l I identified the real reason behind my procrastination (the fear of failure, of being found out). Then I committed to feeling that fear NOW (instead of a year from now) and getting to work. As a result I'm on track to bring the Be The First Membership to life in half the time I anticipated. The results I'm creating with Massive Action are blowing my mind. Massive Action can do the same for you. Tune in to discover how.
