Episode 126 - Happy Re-New Year

Hello and welcome to a brand new year and a new format. As this is the first episode that isn't free-to-air this is a very real test to see if we are worth 90p!Paul is doing Dry January so we met in The Sober Parrot (part of The Nelson Trust which does wonderful work for recovering addicts) and we started off by comparing the different ways that we both start the year. This naturally led into how the start of a new year is typically a very good time to start new things (and also to stop things and focusing) which then led on to motivational strategies for maintaining new habits and how partnering and teaming can both help and hinder our focus and commitment.We discussed ways to help start the year off well in your teams, your organisations as well and somehow Geoff managed to weave Latchkey Incontinence (although he actually said intolerance!) into the conversation.If there was a theme this episode it would be renewal but we also covered off a question from one of our Regulars Dan Wickett who asked about transferable skills from ScrumMaster to Product Owner.
