Episode 126 with Dr Erica Braschi Jordan/ Four Year , Radiation Oncologist Resident

from Taking Charge of My Cancer · host Derly Munoz

Dr Erica Braschi is a PGY-4 resident in radiation oncology at the University of Florida. She was born and raised in Puerto Rico, where she grew up loving the beach, school, and competitive tennis. Her passion for tennis brought her to the U.S. as a teenager for training and tournaments, and later to Elon University, where she played Division I tennis and majored in biochemistry. She went on to attend medical school at the University of Florida, where she discovered her love for working with patients with cancer—and where she also met her husband, who’s now a radiology resident at UF. Within radiation oncology. She is especially passionate about mentorship, medical education, breast and CNS cancers, palliative care, and finding ways to have meaningful, whole-person conversations with her patients. She currently serves as the Radiation Oncology Resident-Medical Student Liaison at UF and advisory board member for the Keira Grace Foundation (a local foundation that funds and supports pediatric cancer care in Latin American countries). This year she was also awarded the University of Florida Outstanding Resident Educator Award. Outside of work, I love staying active, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.Connect with Derlyhttps://cancermindandbodyrehab.comhttps://Cancerrehabsolutions.comSocial Instagram.com/cancermindandbodyrehab/Facebook.com/cancermindandbodyrehab/Facebook.com/Cancerrehabsolutions/https://www.youtube.com/@cancerrehabsolutionshttps://twitter.com/@Derlycanc72466Connect with Dr Braschi [email protected] Twitter @EricaBraschi1
