Well, yet another example of Talkin' TV's seamless ability to pivot last minute, because we were going to do Pixar's Turning Red this episode, and then promptly decided against it once we actually watched it. So instead, Dom & Chris tackle Ben Stiller's brand new Apple TV+ show that is slowly winning the internet over one twitter account at a time, Severance! An American science fiction psychological thriller streaming television series created by Dan Erickson and directed by Ben Stiller and Aoife McArdle, it stars Adam Scott, Zach Cherry, Britt Lower, Tramell Tillman, Jen Tullock, Dichen Lachman, Michael Chernus, John Turturro, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. The plot follows Mark (Scott), an employee of Lumon Industries who agrees to a "severance" program in which his non-work memories are separated from his work memories. Dom & Chris discuss Ben Stiller's fascinating career throughout Hollywood, how Severance may be more real to life than previously thought and some things that could happen in the remaining five episodes.
