Pakistan bans Iranian backed Shiite group the Zainebiyoun Brigade as a terrorist organization on Thursday. This group was formed by the IRGC after the Syrian civil war began. Qassem Soleimani, former IRGC commander, was credited with launching, training, and funding militant groups like Zainebiyoun Brigade. Isfahan province in Iran was hit with drone and missile strikes last week, reportedly originating from Israel. The attack targeted a region housing Iran's nuclear facility and air defence systems. The satellite images revealed the absence of the Russian-origin S-300 Surface-Air anti-ballistic missile defence system, previously positioned northeast of Isafan International Airport. The S-300 defence system, comprising radar-equipped vehicles and missile launchers, was reportedly struck by drones and missiles, implying that Israeli weapons evaded Iranian air defence systems.
