JAMES 1:20 DEVOTION Based on James 1 This verse reminds us that human anger does not accomplish God’s purposes. While there are times we may feel justified in our anger, unchecked wrath often leads to harm rather than healing. Human anger tends to focus on personal offense and retaliation rather than God’s justice and mercy. God calls us to a higher standard—to respond with patience, grace, and self-control. His righteousness is revealed through anger, love, peace, and understanding. By surrendering our emotions to Him, we become vessels of His grace and reflect His character. Take a moment tonight to release any anger that may be clouding your heart. Breathe out frustration, and breathe in God’s peace.
