Episode 129: Luke 10 Part 1 Commissioned To Go

Just as he did with his hand-picked 12 disciples, Jesus commissions 72 more people to go into more towns and villages to tell people the Kingdom of God is here. He gave them the power and authority to heal the sick and cast out demons to ack up their message. If the people accepted the message, they received a blessing but if they rejected the message, then they decided their own fate. Just like these 72 disciples, you and I have been chosen by Jesus, filled with his Holy Spirit, and been given the commission, the Great Commission, of going out amongst the world and telling people the good news about Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection!
