Episode 13: A Star is Burns

Our previous episodes have some great moments but this one has a football in the groin.  In this episode we welcome in our close family friend and fellow Simpsons aficionado Mr. Patrick Goatseay for a discussion about his pick from Season 6: A Star is Burns.  Patrick comes in very well prepared to discuss this controversial  episode, that Matt Groening refused to be associated with.  Bryan discusses if The Simpsons may have predicted the future again and talks about misheard lyrics.  Cori discusses a crooner that will be performing in front of gorillas as well as a celebrity that recently crashed a wedding.  Brenden leads us through our Act 4 discussion as we discuss what we are excited about this week.  Cailin brings us another Useless Weather Update with the all important pollen update and mentions a Con she is interested in going to, as long as she can figure out where it is.  Stick around as the group has a great time listing off the many quotable lines, a deep dive on the making of the episode as well as the connection to the under appreciated animated show, The Critic, starring Jon Lovitz.  We hope you have as much fun listening to it as we did recording it!  As always thank you for your support!
