Episode 13: Achieving Happiness Through Fierce Focus - with Stephanie Jarmuth

from Live Authentically Podcast with Pamela Savino · host Pam

Stephanie Jarmuth is no stranger to the harmful effects years of authoritative words and actions have on the mind and body. After struggling with insomnia for years, Stephanie knew something had to change, and quick. Determined to find a solution that wasn’t going to just temporarily mask her issues, she started her journey by looking inward and peeling back the many layers that had accumulated throughout the years. It wasn’t until after she was introduced to mindset training that she was finally able to not only expose her true self, but actually realize the root of her true authenticity. Becoming a certified hypnotist wasn’t at the forefront of Stephanie’s mind, at least that she initially realized. After seeking support through a trained professional, Stephanie finally found a cure through hypnosis. After that, she knew what the Universe was calling her to do. Stephanie started her business and has helped people realize their authentic selves.“The subconscious mind is defined by our habits, beliefs, memories, tendencies, experiences and emotions. This is our powerhouse which runs the show 90% of the time,” explains Stephanie.  Being able to identify between the conscious and subconscious mind takes skill, time, effort, and empathy.  Since every person experiences life differently, their introspective journey is a path that has to be walked alone. You can’t ask someone else, you can only seek truth from being honest with yourself and digging deep within.Hypnosis directly communicates with the subconscious mind. The conscious mind is the “host” or holder of intellect and reasoning ability. The subconscious mind however, houses adopted thoughts, beliefs, actions, reactions, behaviors and emotion. Through hypnosis, the objective is to feed the subconscious mind with new, positive ideas and suggestions to dispose of negative or harmful thoughts and beliefs.Stephanie is an advocate for breaking down internal barriers. Hypnosis isn’t for the faint of heart and you have to be 100% committed to the process, otherwise you’re setting yourself up for failure. Through this process, a clear path for rewiring your thoughts, mind, and energy can be found. This then helps to identify a path, discover what it is you want out of that path, explore your purpose, and then be free to accept what the Universe then delivers.
