Full Volume: The Manchester Libraries Podcast bounces back with a Spring in its step this March.  Continuing to dazzle with its fresh new look, lineup, features, and more - presenter Alan Lynch and co-host Gary Parkinson – bring you all the latest and greatest from across Manchester Libraries. This month, author Chris Connelly chats to the chaps about his beautiful new book ‘Cargo Recording Studios: 1977 – 85’. Speaking ahead of his Q&A event in the Henry Watson Music Library on 12 March, Chris’ new book documents the amazing work that went on at this Greater Manchester Studio, where artists such as Joy Division, Fall, OMD, and more all recorded. Gary is on hand for a testing ‘Either/Or’ of his favourite Cargo artists too. Elsewhere, Margaret Duff and Helen Beesley from the Manchester Libraries Children’s team talk about the National Year of Reading and the fantastic See Myself In Books campaign.   There’s a showcase of the spectacular new monthly club; ‘International Film Club’ at Central Library, with a discussion of its happening with its founder Oliver Elliot Rye. There’s a double helping of reviews too, with our regular Full Volume reviewer Elena giving her two cents on ‘Green Dot’ by Australian author Madeleine Gray.
