Passionate and ardent about child advocacy, Bolin continues to serve her community in more ways than one. She is the President of the board for the Alaska Children's Alliance, the Treasurer for the Alaska Impact Alliance, and has served as a field instructor for the University of Alaska Fairbanks over the past four years. Bolin's hard work and dedication to the cause have recently been recognized with the prestigious NANFED award for the Heart of Social Work. In this episode, Leigh and Christian will engage in a critical dialogue about the intricacies of child advocacy, the experiences and challenges of being a field instructor for practicum students, and share poignant 'war stories' from the trenches of social work.
