Episode 13: Clare Manis Hatler and the Manis Mastodon

On this episode of "Columbia Conversations" - a podcast for the Washington State Historical Society which was a precursor to the independent radio program "Cascade of History" - Feliks Banel speaks with Clare Manis Hatler, whose late husband Manny (pictured) discovered the remains of an ancient mastodon on the couple's property near Sequim, Washington in the late 1970s. Ms. Hatler recent donated artifacts to the Washington State History Museum, and is featured in the Summer 2019 edition of COLUMBIA Magazine. Founding producer and host is Feliks Banel.
