Episode 13 - Fire Birds (1990)

What's the opposite of Top Gun? If you guessed "bottom arrow," then congratulations! You are qualified to host this podcast!If you watched the 1990 Nicolas Cage film "Fire Birds," like Brock and Brian did this week, then you would know that "Fire Birds" is the true answer. This pale imitation of a Top Gun ripoff with (somehow) almost twice the budget, half the star power, a hundredth of the charisma, and 10% of the plot did not make any friends with our boys this week, to say the least. Amongst the color commentary of the helicopter dogfighting, Brian and Brock explore the origin of their friendship, they take umbrage with some video games, Brian makes a million-dollar Shark Tank pitch, and Brock attempts to stage an intervention for Brian's cinematic soul. It all leads up to the moment where Brian admits to committing an unforgivable sin. (Strings > Cubes, you monster.)Strap in, because this episode is busier than a three-peckered goat.
