Summary

On todays episode, I was very lucky to have Mr Kevin Hines join me for a conversation around surviving jumping from The Golden Gate Bridge at the age of 19 and the events leading up to it and to the life it has lead him to. It was interesting to hear about his mind breaking in such a way that he was compelled to do the things that he did, the images that his mind showed him.   Kevin has gone on to be a huge advocate for mental health awareness and suicide prevention, Kevin has many ongoing projects and details of which can be found here www.kevinhinesstory.com and his videos on youtube via www.youtube.com/kevinhines For anybody struggling with suicidal thoughts Kevin recommends his Art Of Wellness resource and here in the UK we have many charities and organisations that can help you or advise you if you are concrened about someone you know. Goeiemiddag, Goeiemorgen, Goedenavond! • #47 The Fear of Intimacy with Coach Lain

    02/08/2019

    Stephanie Ganowski

This conversational (and tactical) episode dives into the fear of intimacy with my good friend, Lain!We not only discuss the main reason why we believe men fear intimacy but also give specific ways to help men understand this fear and come out stronger by doing so!Coach Lain Lee is a performance coach and fear psychology enthusiast, specializing in technique & understanding, overcoming mental blocks, and helping the hundreds of athletes he works with to outperform their performance-related fears on a daily basis. His podcast, The Fear Less University, takes an unorthodox look into the concept of fear, seeking to explore, dissect and examine some of life’s greatest fears from the standpoint of understanding. Through the Fear Less U, and other ongoing educational & philosophical pursuits, he seeks to change the cultural perception of fear. It is his belief that fear is not something to be conquered, but instead, understood. “It’s not about being void of fear,” he explains, “…but instead, understanding our fears more, so that we may fear the idea of fear less.”

  • The Fear

In this episode I share a cringe worthy story from last year where I woke up with THE FEAR. Trying to break down my thought process at that time in my life where a lot of things were changing and I was going through an emotional period where I wasn't sure where I was heading. Being vulnerable is something I'm okay with and will talk more openly about in this podcast and I hope anyone who listens will relate and hopefully encourage you to open up to yourself in the form or a journal or even a person if you are comfortable. If you have any cringe stories or would like to speak about a topic please get in touch via Instagram @LewissChristiee Hope you enjoy!
