Episode 13: Matt Maher

Matt Maher gave us a song for our moments of desperation, called "Lord I need you." It starts, "Lord I come, I confess, bowing here, I find my rest." And on the latest episode of, "I Love That Song", Matt shares how his fans have offered HIM a moment of personal ministry. On a European tour, while playing with the band "Rend Collective", he was blown away at how far his song had become known. He says "the thing that really caught me by surprise... was plugging in a guitar... and everybody singing along." Plus, Heidi shares how those same words, "Lord I Need You", became a prayer when she and her Mexico missions team really needed it. "Another one of the leaders said "Lord I need You", I can't think of anything else to say..." Maybe this song has spoken to you in times of desperation or has become an anthem for a season.
