Not known for spending much time in the spotlight, Aleksi "UUNO" Työppönen has quietly amassed a big following as one of the top Finnish players in Rainbow 6 Siege. The pressure was on for UUNO the moment he stepped foot in R6 esports, making his debut at the 2018 Six Invitational on the legendary ENCE roster. It wasn't an easy entry for UUNO as ENCE got knocked out of SI2018 by regional rivals PENTA and would then be relegated from Pro League the next season. Despite some setbacks in his early career, UUNO (and ENCE) would get redemption by qualifying for Pro League once more...only for UUNO to seek greener pastures. After a relatively short stint on LeStream, G2 came for yet another ENCE alumni and the rest is history. UUNO is now one of the core members of G2 and has grown into a leadership role over that time. We were fortunate to get an in-depth interview about UUNO's experiences starting out on PS4, battling his way to the top of Pro League, and the struggles that come from a fan base as large and as vocal as G2's.
