Episode 13: The Lipstick Leap: You Always Have a Choice to Change.

from Playing The Fool · host Jarna Saunders

In this episode, I share a fun but surprisingly powerful experiment I set inside The Heart of the Bar: seven days of wearing red lipstick. Now, I’m not usually a bright RED lipstick person, but this practice became an anchor for me, helping me slow down, check in with my body, and show up with intention no matter how I was feeling.  I open up about the resistance, stories, and fears that surfaced - not only for me but also for the women in the group and how something so small created massive shifts in courage, confidence, and playfulness. I also tell a sweet story about my daughter jumping in on the red lipstick challenge and what that taught me about the ripple effect of modelling courage.  The red lipstick isn’t really about the lipstick, it’s about choosing to show up differently, stretching past your comfort zone, and anchoring yourself in presence and play. It’s about Playing the Fool. Because if you always do what you have always done you will always get what you have always got. You have to CHOOSE to change babe. I am about to launch something really exciting so make sure you are following me at @Jarna Saunders so you get first option to join.
