Episode 13: Working the Polls

from Poddy Train Me

After eight months of living through a global health crisis, all eyes turned toward the pivotal 2020 presidential election. Greg is joined by his good friend and housemate, Ian Weeks, who reflects on their experience together working the polls in Goleta, CA. After spending four days with a diverse group of strangers, Greg and Ian have a long series of stories to tell. Some of them are funny, some are uplifting, and some are frustrating, but almost each and every one of them is bizarre. While this particular group of poll workers was extremely diverse, which, after all, is what makes America great, they all valued the right to vote and letting others have their voices heard. It is truly an experience that Greg, Ian, and the rest of the staff will never forget, and we encourage you to join them on this journey as they relive this historic period in their young lives.
