Placing human desires above God's will is a guaranteed way to compromise and disappoint. People will always have opinions and feelings about what you should do on this earth, and that's acceptable. However, it's not acceptable when those opinions override God's purpose for your life. I encourage you not to let people's feelings and uncertainties take precedence over God.
