Episode 1308 - Jarvis Kingston Praise God for giving us His Word as a source of truth, comfort, and hope. Worship Him for being the same yes

from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” ROMANS 15:4 DEVOTION Based on Romans 15 God’s Word isn’t just history—it’s hope. Everything written in Scripture, from stories of deliverance to promises of peace, was given to teach and strengthen us. When we feel weary or uncertain, the Bible becomes a source of comfort, reminding us of God’s faithfulness through every generation. Through His Word, we learn endurance and receive encouragement. As we read about those who trusted God in the midst of trials, our own faith is built. Scripture roots our hope not in changing circumstances but in the unchanging nature of God. Take a moment tonight to turn your heart toward the Word. Breathe out discouragement, and breathe in comfort and truth. Let Scripture restore your hope and guide your path. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for giving us His Word as a source of truth, comfort, and hope. Worship Him for being the same yesterday, today, and forever. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve neglected Scripture or forgotten its power to comfort and guide. Confess any doubt or distraction that’s kept you from His Word. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the examples and promises found in Scripture. Express gratitude for how His Word has brought you peace, strength, and renewed hope. SUPPLICATION: Father, deepen my love for Your Word. Help me turn to Scripture when I need comfort and direction. Teach me to wait patiently and live in hope, knowing Your promises are sure. PRAYER “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.” ROMANS 15:4 Heavenly Father, We thank You for providing us with the opportunity to learn Your ways and grow in our understanding of You. Help us to be patient as we progress along this journey that leads closer to You. Give us strength when we lose hope due to lack of progress or struggles in our lives, and let us remember that patience is a great virtue. Let our hearts be filled with appreciation for the teachings of Your Word and the love You offer us as we take time to absorb this knowledge. May these truths become a source of joy and peace in our lives, aiding us in all areas--spiritual, mental, physical--as we grow closer to You. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITY Please pray for my health.
