Episode 1314 - Jarvis Kingston Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” PSALM 37:4 Puerto Rico

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” PSALM 37:4 DEVOTION Based on Psalm 37 This verse reveals a beautiful promise tied to a deep truth: when we truly delight in the Lord—finding joy in who He is and aligning our hearts with His—our desires begin to reflect His will. It’s not about using God to get what we want, but allowing Him to shape what we want as we delight in Him. When our hearts are tuned to His, He plants desires in us that are good, fulfilling, and in step with His purpose. True satisfaction is found not in getting everything we crave, but in loving the Giver more than the gifts. Take a moment tonight to examine what your heart delights in. Breathe out selfish longing, and breathe in joyful surrender. Ask God to shape your desires to match His heart. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for being your greatest joy and treasure. Worship Him not just for what He gives, but for who He is. CONFESSION: Reflect on desires that may not align with God’s will. Confess any ways you’ve placed your happiness in things over Him. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the peace and joy that come from delighting in Him. Express gratitude for the ways He faithfully shapes your heart. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to truly delight in You. Let my desires be shaped by Your Spirit. Fill me with joy in Your presence, and lead me to long for what honors You. PRAYER “Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” PSALM 37:4 Dear Lord, You are our delight and the joy of our lives; how good it is to savor Your sweetness. As we rest in You, may each moment be a reminder of Your benevolent grace that supersedes all other things of this world. We want to honor You with our decisions, by choosing what will bring glory to Your name. May our hearts be filled with the delight of knowing You, that our praise will ever be on our lips. Help us to find joy in Your presence, and seek contentment in all You have given. We ask this in Jesus’ name - Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITYBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
