Dr. Rawson's research focuses on the interaction between nutrition and skeletal muscle. In particular, he has studied the effects of creatine on muscle and brain function. Dr. Rawson is currently an Associate Editor for Applied Physiology, Nutrition, and Metabolism, Amino Acids, and the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research. Dr. Rawson has delivered more than 100 professional presentations, is co-editor of the text Nutrition for Elite Athletes, co-author of the 11th Edition of Nutrition for Health Fitness and Sport, and has authored/co-authored numerous articles and book chapters.
