Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 3:5-6 "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." — Proverbs 21:5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” PROVERBS 3:5-6 DEVOTION Based on Proverbs 3 These verses call us into complete trust—a surrender of our need to figure everything out. God doesn’t ask for part of our heart, but all of it. Trusting Him means choosing faith even when we don’t understand, even when the path ahead isn’t clear. Leaning on our own understanding can lead to confusion or fear, but when we acknowledge God in every step, He promises to guide us. He sees the whole journey, and He knows the best way forward. His direction comes as we invite Him into every decision, every plan, and every moment. Take a moment tonight to surrender your need for control. Breathe out anxiety, and breathe in trust. Let God take the lead—He is faithful to direct your path. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Praise God for being trustworthy and wise. Worship Him for being a faithful Guide who sees the end from the beginning. CONFESSION: Reflect on times when you’ve relied on your own understanding instead of seeking His wisdom. Confess any areas where you’ve struggled to trust fully. THANKSGIVING: Thank God for the times He has guided you, even when you didn’t understand. Express gratitude for His presence on every path. SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to trust You with my whole heart. Help me to acknowledge You in all I do. Lead me clearly, and give me the courage to follow wherever You direct. Help me to trust You as I move ahead in life by learning to depend on the guidance of Your divine understanding. Guide me, Lord, so that I may stay on the path that is true and right. May my heart always be to Your leading, so that I may move in Your will and purpose. May I never forget that if I trust in You with all my heart, I will not be put to shame and that You will direct my paths.
