Episode 133 - Fully Surrendered to God

Welcome to Daily Growth Point, I’m Pastor John Bingham.It is not uncommon for us to sing in church the hymn, “I surrender all.” This song of personal surrender was born out of a Christian’s heart that was struggling between his talents in the field of art and evangelistic work. After years of struggle with the call of God, He finally surrendered. Years later, Billy Graham attributed this hymn to a powerful influence in his own life and used it often in his crusades. Today, God is calling us to a place of total surrender. There are three truths I want you to consider about surrender:I. It is motivated by God’s mercy to us. II. It is complete. Every aspect of our lives must be sacrificed to the Lord. III. It is reasonable. Jesus gave His life for us. Giving our back to Him is the least we could do. As the song says, “Surrender your all today.”
