Microsoft announced that they are buying Activision Blizzard and Sony announced that they are buying Bungie. Microsoft has bought Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion dollars. Activision Blizzard is famous for games like Candy Crush, Call of Duty, Diablo and World of Warcraft. This is a huge move for Microsoft ($MSFT) and Activision Blizzard ($ATVI) who are both publicly traded. This move comes as the hot topic in 2022 will be the Metaverse.  Sony ($SONY) has bought Bungie for $3.6 billion dollars. Bungie is most known for the Halo and Destiny game series.
