Episode 134 - The Battle of Sin

Yet, the reality is that as long as we are on this earth, we will battle sin and temptation. C. S. Lewis observed: “No man knows how bad he is until he has tried very hard to be good. …Only those who try to resist temptation know how strong it is....Christ, because He was the only Man who never yielded to temptation, is also the only Man who knows to the full what temptation means.”Today, you may be struggling under the weight of temptation, but take courage, because our Lord also knows the power of temptation and overcame it! When you are tempted, take those burdens of temptation to Him (1 Peter 5:7). Seek Him for wisdom (James 1:5). Know that He will give you a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13).
