Episode 135: God’s Presence Gives Unusual Grace

(Exodus 33:16; Matthew 3:16-17) It is God’s presence that gives unusual grace for long lasting distinction among the multitude. Moses knew the importance of having God’s presence to succeed in all his endeavours. “For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.” ‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33:16‬ ‭KJV‬‬ Even Jesus, our greatest Model was baptised with God’s presence - His Holy Spirit of God in order to fulfil all His assignment on earth. “The moment Jesus came up out of the baptismal waters, the skies opened up and he saw God’s Spirit—it looked like a dove—descending and landing on him. And along with the Spirit, a voice: “This is my Son, chosen and marked by my love, deligh” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3:16-17‬ ‭MSG‬‬ Lord, we covet your presence. Thank You for Your Holy Spirit You gave us as a guarantee of our inheritance in You. Refine us Lord, melt us Lord so that every dross of sin and weight can fall off our lives. I pray for fresh anointing of your Holy Spirit upon our lives? Revive us Lord, I pray, so that we can continue to dwell in Your presence. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen
