Katie Kuznacic, a.k.a The Booch Witch, started making kombucha in her kitchen in the spring of 2017. She’s enjoyed the ritual ever since and saved thousands of dollars in the process. She enjoys bringing new DIY self-care techniques to those who seek that balance. She launched The Booch Witch in 2020 for the love of kombucha and the benefits the drink has provided her. Her unique home-brewing procedure affords a creative and natural flair. The Booch Witch’s instructional classes provide a unique new hobby that’s good for you and completely customizable to your personal tastes. “My techniques for the home-brewing process result in a light, effervescent, and naturally-sweet taste,” she says. “While retail brands are delicious, making my own booch at home has let me adapt each brew to my personal, seasonal tastes — or special requests from friends!” A Wisconsin native, Katie and her husband, Eric, live in Janesville. She works in higher education and is pursuing her MBA. She enjoys traveling, cheese, gardening, and being in the kitchen.
