PTI senior leader Shehryar Afridi announced that his party would hold dialogues with the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) and the Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (DG ISI) instead of engaging with what he termed as "rejected people" from other parties who reached parliament via "Form 47". Afridi criticized the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government, alleging that they are "rejected people" controlled remotely and supported by the establishment. He dismissed calls for reconciliation with the opposition, stating that PTI wants dialogues for the betterment of Pakistan but will not seek any National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO).
