Episode 1357 - Jarvis Kingston And be ye kind one to another tenderhearted forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven

from Jarvis Kingston · host Jarvis Kingston

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Ephesians 4:31-32 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31-32 DEVOTION Based on Ephesians 4 Bitterness, anger, and resentment are burdens that poison our hearts and relationships. God calls us to put them away—not to ignore them, but to release them. In their place, we are to put on kindness, compassion, and forgiveness. This isn’t always easy, but we’re not alone—God gives us the example and the power. As we remember how much we’ve been forgiven, we’re softened to extend that same grace to others. Healing begins when we let go of what weighs us down and embrace the character of Christ. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Lord, You are full of mercy and grace. I worship You for forgiving me completely and continually. CONFESSION: Forgive me for holding onto bitterness and lashing out in anger. I confess I’ve struggled to forgive those who’ve hurt me. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Thank You for the gift of Your Spirit that enables me to love like You. SUPPLICATION: Father, help me release every root of bitterness. Teach me to be kind and tenderhearted, even when it’s hard. Remind me of how much I’ve been forgiven so I can extend that same grace. Let my words and actions reflect Your heart. PRAYER “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.” EPHESIANS 4:31-32 Dear Father, Help us to let go of the unhealthy habits and sins that have been holding us back. Grant us courage to repent of these wrongdoings and turn away from them. Give us a mind to think on things that are pure, lovely, noble, just and excellent. Inspire our hearts with love for You and others, enabling us to live a life full of grace. Teach us to put away all bitterness, anger, wrath and harsh words. Help us to instead show each other compassion and kindness so that we may be tenderhearted as You are. Guide our feet in Your ways so that we will follow in the steps of Jesus and live lives that honor You. We surrender ourselves to You and offer our lives as a living sacrifice. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾 PRAY FOR YOUR COMMUNITYBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jarvis-kingston--1517583/support.Repent and Get Baptized
