Episode 136 - Mad Max: Fury Road

Andrew and Phil return to reviewing theatrical films by catching up with the new action juggernaut that is also a critical darling.  A non-stop barrage of intelligently rendered chaos, Charlize Theron usurps the role of main protagonist from Tom Hardy, despite the fact this is packaged as a Mad Max film.  She is tough as nails as a truck drivin' woman who liberates the five wives of the evil Immortan Joe and heads toward the idyllic Green Place.  She is summarily pursued by IJ's army, which includes War Boys who spray their mouths with silver lacquer when they feel they are about to enter Valhalla.  Wouldn't you, in their position?  The landscape is arid, dry and inhospitable.  It's a dirty, bonkers movie.  And it's got a guy playing a guitar that shoots flames.  See it.
