Episode 137 - Go Birds with Connie Myers

The evil infidels of KC are defeated by the People's Republic of Philadelphia, Drake is humiliated on two national stages, and the Gutter Boys are getting back to a semi-regular schedule. The world is finally healing. On this episode, we're joined with Philly's own Connie Myers to talk about the one thing this podcast is allegedly about: COMICS. We discuss her influences, her early work and how it's developed over the past few years, her newest book Big Gamble Rainbow Highway, and what it means to be a cartoonist in a growing hostile multimedia world dominated by giant tech companies.  Follow Connie on IG @connie_archive to check out more of her comics. Questions? Comments? Suggestions? Email us at [email protected] and we'll read it on the next episode, or give the Gutter Boys a follow on Instagram and Twitter (JB: @mortcrimpjr; Cam: @camdelrosario). And of course, please rate, review, like, share, and subscribe on your preferred podcast platform and help grow the Gutter Gang Nation!
