Episode 137 - Patrick Burns

Outside The Chute sat down and chatted with 2021 ISC World Champion and 2019 WBSC Bronze Medalist with Team Canada, Saskatchewan native, Patrick Burns. Burnsy has had a fantastic career to date and he’s still going strong. The 33 year old has carved his way into being one of the most versatile players in the country. Burnsy is not only a threat on the mound and in the outfield but is also as deadly as a hitter as they come in that batter’s box. This past Canadian Senior Men’s Nationals was a clear indication of that as he hit a whopping .750. We chat about it on here but that’s just insane. We also chat about him getting his start in the game back in the day, the back to back U19 National Titles won with the Saskatoon Selects, his time at the University of Saskatchewan playing basketball, which included a CIS National title in 2010, of course, that bronze medal at the WBSC’s in 2019, and much, much more.
