Episode 137: Thomas Merton's Betrayers, an update with Hugh Turley

In 2019, I interviewed Hugh Turley about the book he wrote with his co-author, David Martin, "The Martyrdom of Thomas Merton: An Investigation." In 2023, Turkey and Martin published a follow-up: "Thomas Merton's Betrayers: The Case Against Abbot James Fox and author John Howard Griffin." Mr. Turley is back to tell us about the latest book and to give us some updates on the latest news about the investigation, new artistic ventures thalami to bring the story of Merton's death to light, and a possible cause for canonization. Find the first CAM interview with Hugh here: https://youtu.be/ImdRuSg3dJk?si=BAQJj6OwVSlljbhVFind Hugh here:http://www.themartyrdomofthomasmerton.comFind "Thomas Merton's Betrayers" here:https://www.amazon.com/Thomas-Mertons-Betrayers-against-Griffin/dp/0967352169Buy your CAM "Infallible Jesus" t-shirt here:https://catholics-against-militarism.checkoutstores.comFind CAM here:  https://catholicsagainstmilitarism.comRSS feed: http://www.buzzsprout.com/296171Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/CAMpodcastSupport the showFind CAM here:  https://catholicsagainstmilitarism.comRSS feed: http://www.buzzsprout.com/296171Rumble: https://rumble.com/c/CAMpodcast
