As leaders develop, we grow through stages of how we view the world. These stages (of what we call vertical development) represent a different continuum than the growth in skill building, education, and career advancement (horizontal growth) that we most often consider when thinking about our adult development. Patrick recently participated in a certification training on the assessment tool used to measure our vertical development.
