Episode 138: $50 Pizza, U2 “Residency”, & Never Out Someone With Gout

Well, it's a wild ride here on SOSS street this week. This week's episode starts off with some nice middle-aged talk about gout, yard work, orthotics, and the library then quickly moves like a Bullet Train into a rapid-fire pop-culture topic spree of epic proportions. Maya recounts her $50 pizza from a newish local restaurant and realizes she has a history of overpaying for pizza. Next Amy and Maya discuss the movie Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt and that Sundays are made for Jason Statham movies. Next, the ladies imagine what NFL coaches actually said to The Rock when he was booted from the league for not being good enough. Then Maya poses the question, "Would you buy tickets to a U2 'residency' in an area?" promoting Amy to relive seeing U2's Joshua Tree revival tour and crying with joy. Questions are asked:  Is David Blaine just a stunt man now? Is the Rock a good actor? Are you good at library? Finally, the ladies contemplate Ticketmaster's new "Dynamic Pricing".
