She is a still life painter from Broken Hill, who lived in Florence, Italy for 25 years designing textiles. She has recently collaborated with the fashion designer, Oscar De La Renta, for a collection using her paintings as prints. Her paintings feature flowers, books, fruits and vases she has collected from her time in Broken Hill. Her sister, Lisa, is her manager, which is very cool, and we think everyone should have a Lisa!!You can see Melanie's work at Twentytwentysix Gallery in Bondi from 24th Jan - 12th Feb.Thanks Mel, so great to meet you and talk to you.  Hosted on Acast.
