Episode 138: Take Full Advantage Of Every Day
from Detox with Abi · host Abimbola Arawande
(Judges 14:14; Ephesians 5:15-17 TPT) Samson, a Hebrew Judge, in his riddle to the men of philistines, said “...Out of the eater, something to eat. Out of the strong, something sweet...” He later interpreted his riddle- the eater and strong was the lion which he killed. In its context, the answer to the riddle is honey from the lion's carcass: Honey is "something to eat" and "something sweet", and lion is "the eater" and "something strong". With the emergence of enforced use of mask, aside its work of preventing or reducing the spread of the Covid-19 virus, I observe that I can be more expressive in my prayers. I am able to pray more in tongues with my mouth open as nobody will see my moving mouth. An encouraging word that comes to mind is in line with maximising the time. “So be very careful how you live, not being like those with no understanding, but live honorably with true wisdom, for we are living in evil times. Take full advantage of every day as you spend your life for his purposes. And don’t live foolishly for then you will have discernment to fully understand God’s will.” Ephesians 5:15-17 TPT
