In this episode we discuss my upcoming memoir, The Devil Inside: How My Minister Father Molested Kids In Our Home and Church For Decades and How I Finally Stopped Him. In this candid discussion, we talk about the purpose for writing it, some of the challenges children of abusers face, and how it was written to help parents spare their children from abuse. I learned the hard way that abusers are incredibly skilled at deception and masking the abuse. We had no idea that, for over 4 decades of my dad's life, he was abusing minor children. Abuse is rampant and is not going away. But we can certainly be proactive in finding abusers and shutting them down.
