All the time I said, could I get there? I think, I think that's the... Okay, well, you're kinda in my eye on the text and stuff like that for a while, you're probably going to... Oh god, there was a couple days ago, I was like, maybe I should have took another couple days off of work.

Well, I'm really excited to do this episode because my friend here has just returned from... ...Jolly Odin. Yes, honestly, probably the greatest trip I've ever done. Awesome.

I'm telling you man, that's all I've done. But look at my track record of trips. Before London, the biggest trip I ever took was Hawaii. Hawaii and Apple Valley, California.

Vegas? Utah? Apple Valley, California. Oh, no, no, no, no.

Well, I stand corrected. Yeah, jeez. We did the pre-episode where we kinda talked about my plans and everything, and we were probably might as well do a post. Well, yeah, I mean, we didn't let our listeners know that you didn't die in the crash.

Yeah, no. Oh god. Might as well throw that out there right now. What?

Like the flight to London, we went kinda central, like through Central North America, and then up through the Great Lakes, into the Atlantic going to London. Yeah. And I wore shorts, and everything, and I'm just like, okay, and it was fine. I was perfectly contented.

I slept, okay, didn't take any sleep until I did sleep. That's good. Yeah, on the way back, we flew through Greenland, and then like the frozen tundra of fricking Canada. And I wear shorts again, and I'm sitting there like, we go down, I'm food.

That's true, you are? Yeah, I'm screwed. See, nobody would be prepared for anything like that. Yeah, everybody on the plane would be food of some type, you know?

Yeah, exactly. Not to disparage the airline industry. That crash position that they tell you to do, if you're about to go down. Honestly, when you snap your fucking neck.

Okay, do you want to know the truth behind that? Yeah, let's. Okay, the truth behind that crash position where you put your hands behind your head, and then put a pressure forehand against the chair. Pressure forehand against the chair.

Okay, it's meant to preserve the body. Teeth. Teth. Fright identification.

But still, you're fucked. Yeah. What are they going to come on and tell you like, hey, look, pretty much take whatever position you want because at this point, you're fucked. You might live, you might not.

Yeah, it's almost like. No, they're likely you won't. Yeah, it's almost like I was thinking about like, honestly, wouldn't it be better if I just unbuckled it just like my ass around the freaking cabin. It's so, no.

I mean, it might be more fun before you realize, God, forget. Yeah, but no, it's meant so that it preserves the head for the most part, and so you can identify the body. I'm a lighter note. Uh-huh.

Let's just dive right into this. We're off to fucking beat started. Yeah, let's give that like no rolling. You wanted the truth.

I told you you couldn't handle the truth. Well, I pretty much knew the truth. Okay. You just added the fact that you're not going to know what it was going to do.

Yeah, it's definitely meant to identify the body. Yeah. Honestly, looking at this episode before we decided to record and everything, I did not know how to do it because honestly, we could go several hours just sitting here going over every aspect of my damn trip. Yeah.

But I'm not even more listeners with that. Okay. I'm going to just hit some of the prime spots like the back. Okay.

I almost thought I was going to be getting mugged. Yeah. That's right. And this is really off of that one?

It might as well because they're leading to a staple of the nowhere, California life of Kevin Smith. Ah, yes, yes. Because one morning I decided to head out to the Prince Charles Theater because as one Kevin Smith and another, we know there is the Kevin Smith cubicle there. Yes, and where's that cubicle located?

Well, let me get that first. Okay, sorry. On the way there, I'm getting me a dirty look. I only plan that morning to basically get up at breakfast.

We'll discuss food in a moment. Basically I took my passport with me, like maybe a couple pounds if I wanted to grab something drink along the way and that was about it. Okay. So I headed out, got into the tube, got there and got to the area where the tube let out and started going, okay, time to try to find the Prince Charles Theater.

And at this time I'm wearing my Iron Man sunglasses. That only cost me like three bucks online. But as I'm walking around, here this voice, we go, those glasses are really nice. This little 20 year old black British girl.

And she's like, those are so awesome. Where'd you get them from? It's me. So I'm not going to sugar go.

I got them online for like three bucks. But also too, as soon as she really started talking to me, I'm like, oh God, I'm getting a mug. I'm like, this is how it happens. Where the person's going to distract me on one side and everybody's going to come up behind me and free it, club me in the head.

But she kept talking and I'm like, yeah, I got online and everything. They all look really nice. What are you doing here? I'm like, I'm looking for the Prince Charles Theater.

There's something I want to check out there. I want to look like a freak. The freak in bathroom with Kim Smith on it. Secret is out.

Yeah. She's like, oh, I know where the Prince Charles Theater is. She's like, let's go down this way. And I'm like, oh, yeah, we're going to go down dark alley.

That's when you're going to freak in popping. And during this time, I'm thinking like, I'm going to kick the girl. I'm going to kick a freaking 20 year old little British woman. I'll do it.

You pull the dog out. I'm all arrested for assault. I was teasing them. But as we cross the street and everything, that's when her stop story kicked in.

Now she's talking about how her night was horrible, her friends ditch her. She lost her oyster card and all this stuff. I'm sitting there with like maybe four pounds in my pocket with some random pence and other things. And I'm just telling me this.

I'm like here, I'll give everything in my pocket. She's like, this won't give me anything. I'm like, that's all I got. I let the room literally just to do this.

I did not plan on anything else but this. And she's like, well, give me your oyster card. And that's when like, night activity, like kind of went out the window and going, fuck you. That's where shit got real.

And I'm like, I need that card. She's like, you got my in your room. I'm like, I literally should not be on this trip. I work retail.

I saved forever for the strip. I can't give up this oyster card because I need it for the next couple of days. I'm like, I can't hear. I gave you what I had.

I'm like, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm getting ready to walk away. I'm like, well, keep the copper.

I'm like, okay. I'm like, okay. I'm like, I'm walking away. I'm thinking, if there's ever a time on my pocket.

I'm like, what's your oyster card? Wow. Yeah. If there was going to be time I was going to get popped to be when I was walking away.

But I kept moving. I figured out where the Pritchels there was that and got there. Wow. Yeah.

Yeah. Yeah. See, okay. I'm like, get your hand off my knee.

Fuck off, man. Give me your oyster card. They're going to be a new round. Exactly.

This fast forward to one of the highlights of the trip. I go to the Prince Charles Theatre, start rattling doors. They're all locked and everything. And the manager comes up and asks, if he helped me, I'm like, yeah, I'm a Kevin Smith fan.

He's like, you want to say the loo, don't you? No. And I'm like, yes, please. They're going to make so many different things.

Oh, yeah. I'm going in there thinking like, oh, God, am I about that freaking. That's the same. I see, I see, I see another man's penis.

Probably. But we're talking to everything. And I'm like, yeah, I'm Kevin Smith fan. I really was trying to figure out the best way to kind of see a movie here and do it properly and check out the bathroom and do everything about what it's like.

It's like, it was like, you're probably the first person in my entire time here that came just straight up for the Kevin Smith cubicle. But there, let's go. And he's like, you know, it's in the ladies room, right? I'm like, yeah, I do.

Yeah. Kevin Smith cubicle is in the ladies room of the Prince Charles Theatre. We go down there. So describe it.

What's it like? It's just a bathroom. Now, on the front of the stall, it has the Kevin Smith cubicle with a picture of him. The smiling and everything.

You open up the stall. There's two pictures on one side of him, like old pictures, not slim. And that's about it. But take my pictures.

We get back up and we're talking and he's like, you know, that all broke down, right? I'm like, a little bit. He kind of gave me the full story on it where if you listen to any podcast where Kevin has talked about it, he's given the full story. But I don't think he's revealed a full story.

Right. At this theater, they have a bar area. And they had all decked out for Kill Bill, yellow and black paint and a bunch of turnkino stuff. And Kevin was there performing.

And he was like, where's, why don't I get a bar? I've been here. Turnkino has never been here. So the next time he's there, they set up the Kevin Smith cubicle down in the ladies' room.

It was supposed to be a one night only thing. And they have one rising forever. Well, somebody forgot to take it down. That's right.

That's right. You told me that. Yeah. So we never got to take it down.

So it just kept rolling. Even the managers would be like, oh, we still haven't taken that down, huh? And it's just continued. And the guy that I was talking to told me that him and Jen did a plus one there.

In the men's room, they gave Jen her own stall. It was a Jennifer Swellock cubicle where it had flowers, candles, and everything. That's funny. Yeah.

It was like, oh, that is so cool. That's awesome. So talk to me a little bit more. Talk to more about the theater and everything.

It's just like this really cool indie theater that was called Presharl's Theater. Yeah, there's a lot. Okay. So like the pub that was around the corner from me was the, it wasn't a print tablet.

It was a print alphabet. And it wasn't until we got, I want to say we were off of the, we were off Baker Street or something like that. And I spotted another one. And I was all, ah crap.

It's a chain of them. Yeah. Well, I did find one of those and I guess that'd be the perfect time to step into our food boner. No, no.

I don't know about that guy down the slide. I got a slide. That was your first thing. Oh God.

I was so excited about this. I still haven't shown anybody the video. The first day, like I've landed, I was jet lagged like a motherfucker. But I knew like, I got to take it for the slide.

I got to go and do this. I got screwed over by driver. Everybody makes that mistake. I think it was once in London.

Okay. But I got there, got to the top of the slide. They gave me a helmet to put on and it had, of course, me with my freaking eyes head. I'm like, um, you got one larger.

We went through a bunch of them. But then I guess the guy working the helmet area was new because he's like, oh, there's laces on the back of this. It's all fucking just go. Yeah.

Well, it's more for like smacking your head around and get to the entrance of the slide and everything and they're like, okay, are you ready for this? And they're like, okay, you get into this little sleeping bag thing and then you push yourself off. Like you literally like, you have rails next to you and then the rails in and that's when you shove off. I want picture in this Christmas vacation because one, two, they're in that it's just a streak of fire light going in the hill.

It was somewhat that way. Like, I know eventually I will show you and Doug and Phil the video, but like it's not really like I'm not like, do you break into tears? No, it's just the fact that the camera is so close to my face, you can see my nose hairs and I'm good with my pictures or something or anything, but this is me jet lag tired as fuck. I got to.

Yeah. I was like, Oh God, why can I have them turn the camera around to see here me in the background? Oh my God. Because it was awesome.

Like, like, it was like, were you afraid at any point? And I'm like, that last push, like when you're about to let go and go, I had a moment of like, what the fuck are you doing? So it's like 15 stories, right? Yeah.

It's like 173 meters. Oh, Jesus. Yeah. Yeah, it's up there.

Wow. Yeah. And but like it goes so fast though, like you said, like it's just at one point when you're about to release when you're like, Oh God, oh God, what the hell am I doing? What the hell am I doing?

It is. You push off and you're flying. Not enough time to be able to go. Oh God, I'm gonna die.

He does like doing something here. Yeah. And I got to the bottom for four. And it was like, Oh crap.

Like literally if it wasn't so far out of the way from my hotel, I'm probably would have done it again. Wow. Or is it more of a steep drop? Well, I know.

But this is for the listener. Well, you saw the picture where like I took the long shot and then I took I zoomed in on that little, right? That's the first. Oh, okay.

So you're dropping. You're getting your speed going. And they put you. Okay.

So when we go up and do the water slide like Gregory, they give you these little foam mats to lay out, right? Yeah. It's like, I would say it's almost like a like a fire blanket. Like you're like, it's almost like a fire blanket potato sack.

I think where you're holding onto it like a strap. Okay. And they're like you gotta keep leaning back or you're going to slow down. Yeah.

And like going to the turns and everything. And you'll see like when I show you the video, like you're going to see like, oh, he was slowing down there a little bit. And there was points where I was like, oh God, don't get stuck in this fucking thing. But then again, you don't want to come out like a fucking missile at the other end.

That would have been kind of cool too. They're like, yeah. So what do you want to do? I don't want to go by a punch.

Oh, fuck. That American. Yeah. That was cool.

Like seriously, if it wasn't such a far ass trip, I probably would have done it again. Cool. I'm going to have to do that. I'm just going back.

So yeah, I would highly recommend take the tube. Well, you've done the whole get screwed by a driver and then go with a cab. Yeah, I got my screw job by a driver. And then that night, I was supposed to do the night tour.

The two kind of stalled on me a couple of times though. I was like getting in the check and point. Okay. And honestly, I was getting frustrated and I was like really tired of this box.

I was like, fucking, I'm going back to the room and just go back to the room. He's like a tube star one? Well, yeah. It just something that happened where it's like, oh, we're out of red light.

We're out of red light. So it was basically something made up and going on in front of us behind us. Oh, okay. Yeah.

Because I know that part of it will travel above ground for some, a certain portion. They have what's called the underground and then there's your overland trains. Yeah. That's when we get to the top line and when I get confused by that.

Really? Yeah. I ended up like taking the train, the circle line all the way to the end because. Oh, that's right.

You took it to the end of the line and because somebody told me to do that and then I talked to the person at the end of the line like, oh, you should have been on district. Yeah. Yeah. You got a transfer of district and the district is like three stops in and it's the town.

Yeah. That's awesome. And it says to you, you know, this is your exit full to town. And after the thing too, like I, that was one thing.

I was kind of like, oh, God, hopefully I get this out quickly. And honestly, I had the tube down pat pretty much within. I'm telling you, okay, didn't I tell you before we ever started this whole thing was that their, their mode of transportation is so streamlined. Oh, yeah.

It's way better than, like, you know, the New York transit system and New York's pretty dial than two. Well, that's the key thing right there. And that's the key thing with a lot of stuff in the States is there's money behind it. The transformation there is government rent, right?

Right. Without having a bunch of people going like, oh, I want the contract for this, this, this, this, this. Yeah. There might be somebody who does like the expansion on the tunnel.

But nothing where it's like here where it's like, oh, we got to get every damn dime we can get from this or we're not doing this. Yeah. This is, that's all state. I'm not going to get the contract.

The country itself. Yeah. But, uh, dude, I, I see I love taking the two. Oh, yeah.

It was so perfect. I just have no extra card just rolling with it was perfect. Yeah. I'm so glad that the Oyster card.

That's, if, if we're going to do this. Did you just have a set amount? Well, when I ordered it, I initially put 50 on it. Oh, okay.

See, we paid, I want to say we paid, uh, like a couple hundred pounds, I think, for each card, but ours was good all the way, like ours was, like, like a week, like a week, like a week, yeah, ours was no limit. So we did like a week pass and had we cashing like the day before we would have got money for. Yeah, the Oyster card, what's the, uh, TSCM? The London Transportation Bureau.

Yeah. Wherever it is, go there online, you can order it and put whatever you want on there. Right. And it's perfect.

And I'll tell you ahead of time. I wish you could know. I highly suggest that you bring it with you. Um, and it's like when we did ours, if you do yours like a week block or something like that, then you can literally get on any form of public transportation and it never, you never get a go and limit.

Yeah, I was tempted to go on the bus and everything, but honestly, they got two point words like it just be a waste of time going on the bus. Some of it is. It depends on like there's a website I told you about, which is like in a travel London or whatever it is. And it'll tell you, uh, you know, sometimes when it's busy during the day, so I take this train to here, switch, switch lines, get off here, then take the bus to such and such place, you know, and do all that stuff.

But for me, it's always, it's always been easier just to get on the tube. Yeah. And like the amount I put on my Oyster card was perfect for the week. Like everything I did.

And you can attest from what I told you and what you were going to be talking about on this episode. I did a lot of shit. Yeah, you did. You did a whole lot of shit.

Yeah. And I highly recommend. Okay. So is it okay to talk to now?

There's no, it's not like green beans or peas or anything out of a can. It's real fucking mush and it's a bright green. It's not like this green color. Yeah.

And it's a weird thing too. Like the place next to the hotel, I'm sitting away from my food. I'm blind in the south of the window. It's no.

It's starting to snow. You're sitting in that video. I was like, haha, shorts. Yeah.

Exactly. I'm sitting there and I'm watching the guy working on the counter and he goes over to another part of the counter, sticks his head underneath the counter and starts talking. Like telling somebody down there's like, it's no one out there. Yeah.

And I'm like, well, I don't know what I told you before you went. A lot of London is built vertically. Yeah. Not horizontally.

It's a small place. Oh yeah. And they're fucking wall-in-wall people. So to give yourself more space, you go basement.

Like all the stuff is run. Most of the pubs you'll find, or restaurants, or like a single floor. Yeah. And then there's a downstairs room.

That's where they're going to be. They have. Well, the Prince Alfred that I was talking about, ours was one portion was a restaurant which happened to be the old botanical greenhouse that was attached to this mansion that we stayed at. Yeah.

But they bought it off and that was the main dining portion. Then there was the pub attached to it. And then you would go downstairs and if you look on my pictures. That's where there's a lot of Banksy Art down there.

Yeah. And they got booths and things like that where you have big get-togethers and play different games and stuff like that. So yeah, like I said, vertically as opposed to clothes on. Well, this is like he's talking to him down there and the guy walked away and everything.

And the order came up. A different order of somebody else is there. It came up in a dumb-winner. Really?

I was like, oh wow. So you're just, you can always tell the word Americans because we're so fascinated by the use of simple shit like that. Oh yeah. Oh yeah.

They thought I was looking at the dumb-winner like, slap-jaw. I do climb out from under the cabinet. And I was like, wow, I love this place. This is awesome.

So I went back to the room and had my fish and chips. The next morning, like before I left the diner, they're like, oh, we do a full English breakfast here. If you want it, I'm thinking like, you know what, I may come here. That changed very fast because I had the hotel set up a free breakfast.

They had a breakfast buffet and I was part of my plan. So you don't have the bangers all the way up. That was the day of every day. Yeah, tell me.

You fuck. You had to be extra four hours on a road. Well, I made it was part of my plan. So I thought it was probably painted, too.

Yeah. And as- Oh, yeah. I'm not expecting my mouth water. So I told the guys that I'll probably back in the morning, but then I thought, you know what, I'll go another day to there.

I'll just go to the hotel. I ended up every day at the hotel breakfast because they had everything. They had the bangers like freaking sausage that would make a grown man weep. And it made me weep.

So they made a grown man weep. It had the mushrooms. It had the baked beans, tomatoes, eggs, scrambled eggs. They had an omelet thing where you can go like, I want this stuff on there.

They had toast and fresh root and all that stuff. They're just like, yeah, this is what I'm doing. That's awesome. Yeah.

And after that first breakfast, I decided to go to Hyde Park for a little bit. And then I went to the pretty much the entire morning walking Hyde Park. Big freak parking. I learned very fast.

London is a dog friendly country. Oh, absolutely. Yeah. Did you ever go over to, is it St.

Charles Park? No. The one that's right by the, it's between the war rooms. Like, you know where the entrance to the war rooms is?

If you turn around, that's the park behind you. No. By the time I got to that point, I was ready to go head back. Oh, I gotcha.

Yeah. See, we wandered out of those. We hit the war rooms really early and then we went across there. Was it crazy busy?

No, it was crazy busy. It's just a lot. It's a lot. I tried to tell you.

Well, it's not that. Did you have the headset? Yeah, I did not. It's free.

I'm like, okay, free. It wasn't the bunker portion of it. It was the museum part where all the displays, the... Oh, yeah, the center portion and all that stuff where they have it.

That was just in Churchill's life. Yeah, the timelines. You'd have to see the vending machine. Exactly.

That was fucking awesome. The war rooms were amazing. But I did Hyde Park, wandered around there. The dog's like, us being from this area.

You see dog wandering around. I was like, where's the fucking owner? Right. Is that going to bite me?

Yeah. Oh, no, the man's like, I don't want to see the dog go hurt. Right. Exactly.

Oh, before I forget about Hyde Park, it was Kensington Palace is right near Hyde Park, too. Yeah. That's the one I told you that I walked into at night. Almost walked right up to the fucking palace.

Yeah. And there's an iron guard out there. You're going like, turning around. He wasn't shooting with me at all.

He was like, how can I help you? That was all. Where am I? Dude, tell me I didn't just walk into like a drug lord.

Yeah. He laughed at me and goes, no, it's Kensington Palace. And I was like, right there? Yeah.

Like, I just accidentally walked into this. He's like, no, no, we knew you were there. Yeah. I'm like, you're fucking S.A.S.

There's no accidents here. Jesus Christ. Yeah, they know everything that's going on over there. But I almost walked right into fucking Kensington Palace.

Oh, okay. Yeah. It was beautiful area. And there's like this orange garden house.

Like, I think it's just a giant greenhouse where it's like, whoa. Yeah. Yeah. And after I walked off the break, which I had to get a lot of that out of there.

Oh, man. You were right around the corner from one of my favorite pubs. Well, after Hyde Park, I went back to the room and kind of planned out my day. Make sure my tube schedule was correct and everything like that.

No, I had out. Did you figure out the pub? No. Okay.

I think remember a little tagget on or whatever. Yeah. It's funny because I say it's one of my favorite pubs and I kept it in the name of it. The first stop I'd made on my second day was to the oldest church in London, the San Cathedral.

Okay. And that was one of the first videos I found of Jules Guide's. Oh, okay. Yeah.

And good lord, this church was beautiful. Like I went inside and there wasn't really anybody around. So I was just like thinking, am I allowed to be in here? Yeah.

But yeah. Most of their places of worship don't really close up. They give you some, like the big ones and things like that. They give you place and time and privacy to do whatever you need.

Yeah. And I think it was like kind of the sanctuary like basement area. And there was a dude there cleaning up, I think, or whatever, gonna understand the word he said. Really thick brogue accent on that dude.

So I was like, okay, let's pull up one around and he was like, yeah. I'm like, okay, cool. Don't know what you just said. So I went up and went to the cathedral and you saw the pictures.

Yeah. Freaking. Oh my god. Jaw dropping.

Like literally I walked in kind of looking around not really noticing any kind of look straight ahead at the big, the biggest stained glass I've honestly seen in my life. Yeah. And I pulled a Titus where I was like, holy show. Wow.

I shouldn't say that here. Because I was like, I'm not saying I'm atheist, but I'm not the most religious person on the planet. I have my faith, but also too, I've been telling people you have to be like hardcore atheists to walk in there and be disrespectful. Yeah, that's true.

Because it's like, holy crap. This is beautiful. Like even before I started taking pictures, like I was in such awe like goosebumps, like just went all over my body. And I just was like, okay, I'm just gonna sit down here for a moment and just take this in.

And I said there, I think literally like for five minutes is kind of just soaking it in. Yeah. And it's I did the same thing at the chapel in the tower London. Yeah.

So you see the, I think it's in the white tower. Yeah. Yeah. But that was my same thing as I walked in.

It was just, you can almost feel the reverence and the power and the history. Yeah. The life that was there. And I took pictures and everything.

And then I think I told you this part, I thought I was locked in. I went back to the door to get out and I could not open it to save my life. Yeah, sir. And I was thinking like, oh God, what's that do you tell me?

Like he's leaving in 10 minutes and he's gonna be locking the door. He's like, uh, right. I'm gonna be locking up your fuck mate. Yeah.

So I'm like, I try to get the door open. I'm like, oh crap, oh crap. I start wondering, I go back to the sanctuary area. I go back to the cathedral just like thinking, okay, what am I doing?

What am I doing? I got to the point where I knew there was offices off to side. So I was like, okay, I'll knock on the door. And I guess it was the pastor or whatever.

He answered the door. He was like, what's going on? I'm like, I can't get out. That's funny.

He's like, oh, you got to do this. You got to kind of jingle in. I think there was supposed to be a sign there. Where you're still.

And it's like, oh, thank God, man. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

So I'm listening to you. You have to understand that the Churchill War Rooms, it's not just a museum. It's the action of the epicenter of London or England's, there was a nurse center for World War II. And that's where Churchill was, where everybody was.

And I love to think about Churchill, where his wife told me to go to bed. Okay, he called on the bed and climbed right back out. He hated being in that bunker. Loved to be out and try to make himself a target basically.

He just didn't want to be driven underground by the German. And then you see his robber on display, his velvet robber. And yeah, he had the cigars, of course. Yeah, his honorary citizenship passport to the States.

I want to say the only non-royal to have full honors. Yeah, full honors, full state honors from the UK in order to win for his burial and all it's. Yeah, and they show up at a job, they don't even think it was such a big thing for him to do that. But there's a lot of people like the new generations and everything that don't realize he lived a long time.

And he died. 70, 80s. No, I want to say it was. Yeah, it was colored.

But it was still, but it wasn't like 60s color. It was like, like, like, the footage was legitimately like TV coverage. Like early 70s, I would say. Nope.

No, I died on my birthday January 24, 1965. Okay. But still, he is part of a recent generation. Yeah, he is a part of several generations.

He really wanted to be technical on it. Yeah, he was something else, man. He, because he was prime minister and then you listen to the whole thing about him where he left. The military goof up that he did.

Yeah, well, no, he didn't even go up. It was something else. He was making this information. Yeah.

And he took the, he took the blame on it. Because he was in command and he took the advice and even though it was somebody else's. He sat down by then, like, I think it was like a decade later, he was back in. Yeah.

And then he did the whole, um, he was prime minister. And then when, um, you know, when the Nazi regime started to rise up, he kept telling them, paying the fuck attention. Does Hitler guys, somebody you need to pay attention to? The Germans, you need to pay attention to the Germans.

And when shit started hitting the fan, you know, um. Well, that was part of the sort of that. I really don't know where they were talking like Churchill refused to meet with Hitler. Yeah.

If I can sneak a gun in there, uh, we'll last one in between his eyes for the love of this country. Yeah. And love of the humanity in general. Yeah.

Well, I mean, and the whole thing was, it was, uh, the whole thing was the country lost faith in Chamberlain at that point because he was just a deer caught in headlights. He didn't have to do it for a real time. And Churchill stepped in and was like, you know, we'll fight him on the land. We'll fight him on the beaches.

We'll fight him on the sky. You know, and, uh, just rallied England, you know, to answer the call and just took it to, you know, you know, even after being fucking pummeled by rockets. The V1 rockets and stuff like that, even after just, you know, the bombardment of the country, um, it's, you know, it didn't shake his resolve. It just strengthened him.

You know, there's some symbolic about him being driven from above ground, you know, from the, from the prime minister's place, which I love that they had the door in there. That was awesome. And they, uh, but they went on the ground. So symbolically, all they did was entrench him even further.

And that's basically, you know, what it was. I knew a little bit about Churchill leading into one of the war rooms, but then afterwards I was like, this dude was a badass. He was, he was a legit, like, no nonsense. That's why England loved him so much.

You know, and he, he was a major figure in English history, even up until the point that he was, you know, stricken very ill and couldn't get out of bed very much. But every time he would make an appearance, more people would just cheer your ass up because it's through his resolve and Queen Elizabeth's support that they came through World War II so strong, you know, that they did what they did. Yeah. And that kind of wraps it up for the war rooms because it honestly is more visual than it is more visual and I'll sit and ramble about that because it was one of my favorite things to see.

It's such a fantastic. And I can already tell you, like, I do want to go back like that. You talked about on the pre-episode, wanted to live there. I don't think I can live there.

Well, you had a, you had a, you had a part of the one that was much more near and dear to your heart than just Central London was for me. And I loved all of London, but I didn't really get over to you. Where were we going now? Well, where was your favorite place to visit?

Well, we're, we'll leave to that. Oh, yeah. After the war rooms, I kind of wandered around a little bit. We got to see Big Bend in its...

Okay. It's on the Madison framework because they're doing, they're just touching them up. Yeah, but also to, I don't know if the sacrilege me saying this. I don't know if you can write us nowhere under square california.com and call me a fuck.

Even if it wasn't, I was like, it's a clock. Oh, you're a fuck. Okay. You're a fuck.

But it may be the fact that it was cocooned and everything. I saw it during the day. How did you like Westminster? Did you see Westminster?

Yes, it did. That's basically where I went now. Right. Because it's all alone.

You have to understand, if you follow the sidewalk from Westminster, you'll crash into Big Bend and then Parliament and then... I saw Parliament, I saw all the... And the Thames River and all of a sudden. The Brexit protesters and everything.

Yeah. So many peaceful protesters, like, we have peaceful protesters here. They have like, British peaceful protesters. Just like, I don't like this.

Well, they're out there and they have, they have their own signs with shit on it. They have the Union Jack and everything. Well, it's because a lot of their, and I don't want to get too much into it. Yeah, I don't either.

The public vote has been kind of ignored. Exactly. And it's, they're going to force through some of the things in light, even in lieu of the public vote against it. Yeah.

But it was very interesting, like, to see the protesters and I even saw, like, the networks, like, the press village where I was like, wow, this is freaking interesting. So, you know, they're right smack in the middle of all of that, where the vote and the timeline and some of the time frames and the, um, what's the fucking term or what more? You were there right in the middle of, you know, all of the, where the positions were being made and the time was a good set. At the end of March.

Yeah. Which is funny because my friend Sean and Christy, they were in Ireland and that's going to affect Northern Ireland in an major way. Yeah. So.
