Episode 139: The September Issues

We’re back. And we’re fine *laughs for days*. So fine. This new term does not have that hopeful September flavour, does it? What with The Great Exhaustion, raw sewage in our seas, Truss & Trump, energy bills, war, floods and all the other global horror. The unnamed dread we’ve been pointlessly carrying around for years has now become very much named dread. Oof. Anyway, to celebrate our return, we have made a desperate attempt to put some good energy into the world to combat the collective dread and found some small reasons to be happy that it’s Autumn. We also talk about things we are just going to have to accept (politicians are awful and no matter how much sleep we get we are still going to be tired) and why maybe it’s time to dive into a gentle Midult crisis….another piercing, anyone?
