Send us Fan MailCurrently, Dr. Katof has a busy internal medical practice, working with a physician assistant, and is employed by a large healthcare organization.Dr. Katof practices in a small suburb of New York City and cares for thousands of patients, sometimes spanning three generations in one family.He went to the elite University of Pennsylvania for his undergraduate education. After evaluating all of his options for medical school, he attended NYITCOM and graduated in 1999. After considering a career in radiology and gastroenterology, Dr. Katof completed his internal medicine residency at North Shore. After residency, he accepted a position with an established medical practice.Unhappy with his decision, he proceeded to explore every permutation of internal medicine in a quest to find personal fulfillment and work-life balance.  Although Dr. Katof did not follow a “straight” path, he shares his journey, which we know will help future doctors with their own.
