Episode 14: Bedknobs and Broomsticks

We take a look at our first Disney film, 1971's Bedknobs and Broomsticks starring Angela Lansbury. Made during Disney's dark age, following Walt's death, it's often called a cheap imitation of Mary Poppins. We dive into the similarities between the films, the shared history of them, and the crazy story of how this film finally got made. As a bonus we talk about the lost cut of the film, and the process behind its special effects. Join host Wyndham Jennings as he talks about this overlooked Disney classic full of laughs, magic, and memorable tunes.
