Episode 14- Coaches Corner w/ Tom Helvick- Part 1

On today’s episode of the Resurface Podcast we have the opportunity to sit down with Minneapolis Girls hockey head coach Tom Helvick. This is his first year as Minneapolis girls head coach but has been coaching for over 28 years. He had coached in Bloomington, Edina, Lakeville South before coming to Minneapolis. Tom grew up in Burnsville as a multi-sport athlete in high school but hockey as his favorite. In his youth he played between the pipes still skating weekly he is a skater more than playing goalie.
