Episode 14 - Geriant's Journey with Ulcerative Colitis

from Crohn's and Autism Awareness Advocate · host Mason Milne

Today I speak with Geraint who speaks about his Ulcerative Colitis he has had Colitis for about 2 years. Geraint speaks openly about his Colitis and likes to talk about it too others he is a firm believer that not every Invisible Illness is Visible. He also speaks about medication. Geraint also says about an experience in a supermarket by urgently needing to go to the toilet by asking a security officer to go and skip the cue, and also thinking what other people may be thinking about why are you skipping the cue. When y having Crohn's, Colitis, IBD it is really important when needing to go to the toilet but some people seriously need to go that is why most of us with IBD have a emergency Crohn's and Colitis card to show when needing to go urgently. Geraint speaks about anxiety and how it may cause him to get pain and go to the toilet. This is a fantastic listen and is inspiring especially if you urgently need a toilet if you have IBD.
