Episode 14: Is Working From Home The Best For Workers? Probably Not.

from Blue Collar Consulting Group Podcast · host Gary A. Roth

In a world that is dominated by the pandemic, employers and employees are fighting to determine the best course of action going forward.  While shouts from the crowd paint a picture that glorifies working from home, companies and managers offer a different view of the situation.  Who will be the winner? This episode covers data from a behavioral research specialist by the name of Dan Ariely and he is suggesting that more people will eventually want to come to the office for work.  They may not ask for right now, but there is still quite a bit of fear in the world.  Not only that, the novelty and luxury of working from home are blinding people to the potential long-term difficulties that working from home will present. What is your opinion?  Is a hybrid model the best way to go?  Should we all go back to the office and continue a traditional approach to work?  Or should we simply stay home?
