Episode 14 - James Sharman talks The Footy Show and launching his career at The Score, best moments covering the game, Footy Prime, #CanMNT, growing the Canadian soccer community, and lots more!

This is a special one, folks. On this episode, we sit down with the one and only James Sharman — host of The Footy Prime podcast and Room 4-4-2. We chat the origins of his passion for the beautiful game, the beginning of his broadcasting career and what circumstances eventually led to the creation of The Footy Show on The Score, some of his favourite memories from more than 20 years of covering the game in Canada, the preparation process for a typical Footy Prime episode and what the show has in store for 2024, #CanMNT’s odds against Trinidad and Tobago, growing football in Canada, Sharman’s Proper Pies, and more! It was an absolute honour to have James on the show and we hope to have him back on sooner than later! FOLLOW US ON X: Mitchell - @CanFutbolTalk Josh - @WanderersNotes James - @jamessharman
