Some people do buy and sell repro parts for vintage Star Wars, and we do understand why that could be attractive to some. We also talk reproduction Vintage Star Wars figures and MOCs. We're purist collectors and prefer not to, so being able to spot and weed out the modern replacements is an important skill in this hobby. You will often find the the repro sellers referring to them as "custom", "reproduction" or "replacement".
