Episode 14 - The Violence of Racism - and our response -by John P. Flannery

There has been a national eruption after a police officer killed a black man, suffocated him, something like Eric Garner, 5 years ago, and this episode sets out to review the charging documents released by the Minneapolis authorities, what's missing, what we might know if we had the information, the misconduct of Trump contributing to this crisis, the demonstrations in the street protesting, how other leaders have actually been effective in such circumstances in the past, what to make of the violence in the streets in response to the lawlessness blacks have suffered, not to mention the poverty and indignities, and what our response should be to solve this horrendous American tragedy, something like the findings from the Kerner Commission in the '60s  John P Flannery, [email protected], @jonflan
